
Sausage Rolls
Ingredients:
500g pork sausage meat (or sausages of your choice)
1 sheet ready-made puff pastry
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp mixed herbs
1 egg, beaten for glaze
Oven: 200°C Fan / 220°C Electric / Gas 7
Steps:
Preheat oven. Mix sausage meat, onion, and herbs in a bowl.
Roll out pastry, cut into rectangles, place filling in the centre. Fold over and seal edges.
Brush with egg wash. Optional: score lightly for that professional look.
Bake 20–25 mins until golden and puffy. Warning: irresistible smell may tempt immediate sampling.
Tip: You can use Sausages instead of sausage meat to save on the onion and herbs to flavour.
Add a pinch of Chilli or Paprika to enhance the flavour of your sausage rolls.
